An Unconventional Path to Legal Work

Karlee grew up in Cedartown, Georgia — the same small town as MPG's founding attorney — and has made Atlanta home for over a decade. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, concentrating in creative writing. That background shaped how she thinks: analytically, precisely, and with attention to how language actually lands on the person reading it.



Before joining MPG Trial Law, Karlee spent six years in the pesticide division at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, working in regulatory compliance. It's an unexpected background for a litigation paralegal — and a genuinely useful one. Navigating complex regulatory frameworks, managing documentation under legal standards, and understanding how institutional systems operate are skills that transfer directly to the work of building a case.

What She Does at MPG

As a litigation paralegal, Karlee works directly with clients across every aspect of their cases. She brings a combination of analytical rigor and a genuinely warm, approachable presence to that work — the kind of combination that helps clients feel both capable hands are on their case and that they're being treated as people, not files.



Her commitment to justice isn't background noise. Karlee is deeply invested in gender equality and racial justice, and that investment informs how she approaches her role at a firm built specifically to serve people who have been wronged.

Beyond The Office

Outside of work, Karlee is an avid traveler, a passionate baseball fan (Cubs, through and through), and a tennis player. She values time with family and friends and brings the same energy to her personal commitments that she does to her work.
